Frownies and Nail Wraps Two of my Favorite Things

    We don't realize how much words effect people until you have been struck by some that stick with you and they just won't leave your brain. Recently my 15 year old son said to me  "Mom you are very young looking." That started out as a compliment until he followed it by "You only started ageing in the last 4 years." as he pointed at my forehead wrinkles. Those words hung with me for a few weeks, one of those over thinking mother moments. Then I got busy to do something about this ever approaching wrinkles.

      I did do Botox once last year it was ok.. little pricy and for the price the results did not last as long as I thought they would. Also the headache I had for about a week after was not fun.

    Moving forward I started looking for a different approach to reduce the ever quickly approaching wrinkle's moving fast in to my life as my 15 year old told me. I tried lots of creams and added enough water to make myself float still this fine lines and elevens between my forehead where still there and getting deeper. Well low and behold google heard me and and I had an ad pop up for a product called Frownies. Frownies are a facial patch that helps reduce the deep facial lines along with the fine lines. They actually have a whole product line. The three products I currently use from them are Frownies Original Facial Patch, Rose Water and the Forehead Serum Patch. 

    The Frownies Original Facial Patch you wear for  a minimum of 3 hours up to over night. Basically it stops you from over using you forehead muscles and trains your muscles not to wrinkle so much. The rose water helps to hydrate your skin and the Forehead Serum Patch hydrates and plump the skin to make those fine lines disappear. I absolutely love the results I am getting from them. I highly recommend anyone wanting to slow the aging process down a bit try them out. This is not a paid ad just my personal results and opinions.     Now lets talk nail wraps, nail polish strips and all things nails. I have always had a passion for fashion, hair, makeup and of coarse nails. I even did nails in my salon for a couple of years and shared my art on others hands. Needless to say doing your own nails is not as easy as doing someone else's right? For a few years I was wearing Kisses Impressed press on nails until I found nail wraps and Nail polish strip and they where a total game changer. I mean I could switch as often as I liked with in minutes and as a busy mom to a family of 5 kids that still wanst to have fun with her nails this was my jam. Problem is I love them so much that I now have an insane amount of them. Picture below.

  My collection started about 10 years ago with Jamberry nail wraps then I switched to Color Street Nail Polish Strips and then I found a cheaper version and started ordering from different nail polish wrap independent ladies and companies. I love all the ladies and places I order from and my nails look fab most of the time. It all got me thinking I am investing a lot of money into this and so my journey of googling and beyond has landed me talking with a manufacturer of nail wraps and I think I might just start my own little business of selling them myself.  I mean investing in myself feels like the right direction to take from this point and I am always looking for a way to make a few extra bucks. More on all this to follow but for now more googling and research is under way for me.

I absolutely love my children. Even though I have both a threenager and teenagers in the same house hold. Some days I don't know which is harder having a threenager or the teenagers. At least my threenager still wants to cuddle and wants dad and mom when he is feeling sad or hurt. The teenagers on the other hand. Part Two: Letter to Bio- Mother From: Step Mother

First of all thank you to all who read, commented, shared, like and messaged me about my last blog post Part One. There are so many different situations life puts us in it was nice to hear the variety of stories and life events. So THANK YOU for sharing yours with me. After reading other step parents responses to my blog it’s a general consensus that we as step-parents do not feel adequate and we feel less of a parent. None of us ever feel like we are enough.  We do not know the correct boundaries, no one wrote us a book on the proper way to be a step parent.   I did another poll on Facebook  my question this time was “If you could say one thing to your child’s bio mom or dad what would it be?” Here where some of the responses: *Don’t talk to the children about adult issues.. it causes them stress and anxiety. *Don’t bad mouth the other parent. * Why have you not been hit by a bus? *Don't bad month my children. Threenager Why I Fear Him

I fear my child sometimes! Why? He is THREE! To some of you that might mean nothing at all. Let me tell you though THREE is scary. Who in this world made up that there was such a thing as the Terrible Two's? That person might not have had kids because two is easy peasy. When a child is two they are still learning to communicate and they seem innocent and sweet. Three hits and  it is a whole new ball game. They can very well verbally communicate! They know that there care consequences to there actions and guess what? THEY DON'T GIVE A FLYING RATS BUTT! You read that right. These Threenagers are testing you in every way possible just to see how long it takes for you to yell and pull your hair out. Why? They think it is Funny! At this age to them we are just their Minions.
